This is a record of our planned ride from the Brittany coast to Nice a distance of some 1,000 miles.
The route includes Mont Ventoux which is a famous climb to 1,912m (6,273ft) of Tour de France fame. The fastest ascent of Mont Ventoux was done in 2004 by Iban Mayo in 55m.51s.
